Hi guys i need help with my Scope off my AWP , when i colored my whole gun it colored the scope glasses too , is there a way to change it ? (https://gyazo.com/395ec1be0d0f56c78db9c150d47a9bee.png) , (https://gyazo.com/0c8c01984b92dd9319ef3b721ba5f0da.png) :poker:

Try selecting the verts of the lens and applying the scope glass material. :)

i clicked on the lense ---> (https://gyazo.com/f857f73ecec54e560bf1157ae5285175.png) selected the whole scope ( i seperated on the beginning still cant select that )

I'm talking about selecting indiviual verts, not the whole scope. I forget which key it is, think it's F8, F9 or F10.

wow... you learn how to open Maya and drop model into scene? ??? ;D

ok it was F9 i selected my scope and it selected the whole scope what next after that ?!

nah i learned things like rigging , adding custom textures, parent it

Looks to me like you've assigned the col map for the scope to the scope lens as well - which will use a seperate material
But it's irrelevant anyway, as long as the "material name" is the correct one
You shouldn't even need to touch images in maya, just import / bind and export models

you do not apply the textures in maya - it uses the material names that are assigned to those meshes / faces
So why are you messing around with the images
Should just drag on, drag bind on - export
Nothing more

but how do i change the lense ^^ to a glass texture ? :D :derp:

again - you do not need to
the materials are already assigned properly without you doing anything

Sorry to say this but if you are having a hard time with this i would recommend to not do this until you learn more of the basics of maya and exporting models/materials.

after animating the gun it will work fine when i aim with it ? i will see the map not a texture or something else :D ?
