Title: Errors while compiling map.

When i'm compiling my map i'm getting a huge list of errors. After the compiling is done I can load my map without any problems. Should I ignore this? I tried reinstalling modtools but that didn't work. I'm using Script Placer Z 2.0 as my script placer and when I try to install sniperbolt's patch my game gives a error about exceeding the sound limit.

If you used script placer 2.0 then you surely used harry's perks. To slove this go to root/raw/soundalias/it's either weapons.csv or dlc3_weapons.csv. You will find a lot of sounds . You have two ways either delete some lines there or comment them . To comment them go to the start of the line and type # in the start of that line. Don't comment/delete something important like foot steps or grenade impact sounds.

Ok you lost me. First you say your map can run . Then you say you passed the sound limit . Ok then . From your spoiler it sounds you did mess with your raw folder or your mod tools pack is no good.

You have either duplicate zone_source file or duplicate soundalias called in raw. Or 2 or more zone_source files have same called stuff, in this case soundalias

You're not being stupid, don't worry, when I started modding I assure you I had more simpler issues than this.

Essentially the soundalias (you can read into what they are) file, is possibly being called twice into your map's FF, which means instead of add the sounds twice, the game ignores them, but continues with the first batch, so if we had all weapon sounds in one soundalias for example and added it twice, we would get an error for the second call and they would be ignored but the first call of sounds will be added. By "calling" we're essentially telling linker_pc to grab these files and add them. So if you call a soundalias file, it adds the file itself, and grabs all the sounds.

You can ignore this error, but if you have a duplicate call of another CSV in zone_source then it's also likely you are now adding more of other asset types thus using more room in your mod, can you go to zone_source and open the csv with the same name of your map and paste what's inside it into http://hastebin.com/ (http://hastebin.com/) and link here? That'll give us a good place to start with assisting you further. :)
