Yes. And if you still need that Pokemon fix just get an emulator/ROM on your phone or PC. I personally am playing Fire Red, Liquid Crystal, and Emerald.

I searched up "3DS emulator" on YouTube just to see if anything worth watching finally pops up and turns out an actual 3DS emulator is finally in the works...I guess I now have a solution to playing all those 3DS games that I missed out on  :troll:
ez, install a Custom Firmeware on your 3ds and problem fixed xdd, plus PW: Spirit of Jutice comes on september 8th :D

Last time I tried installing custom firmware on something Nintendo-related (Wii), I almost bricked it...I don't want to take any more risks with that anymore  :please:

I feel silly for having to make this into a thread since I kinda already thought of a decision but I'll do it anyways.

So I bought myself a 3DS around the time Pokemon X & Y came out...I don't hate Pokemon but I don't own nor do I play any of the games. I could never get into Pokemon no matter how hard I tried so buying Pokemon Y was a mistake tbh

Just a few more months before it's 2017...and I still haven't even gotten halfway through Pokemon Y and I don't even remember the last time I touched my 3DS. I do admit that there are quite a lot of good games for the 3DS, but as enjoyable as they look I don't plan on buying them anytime soon, sadly.

So...should I sell it?

I know it's probably too late to add this in since the mapping is 95% done, but as good as the map looks, is there any chance you could add in some new areas to make it different from the original?

lol, the pictures in the Spoiler tag that flash for a bit during the "Every Story Has a Beginning" line are the exact same pictures in the Origins teaser trailer when it also said that every story has a beginning  :please:

Finally we have removed some boards which we found were either unused or sources of regular spam in order to clean up the board layout:
- Custom Map Challenges
- Highscores

Darn...I was just about to come up with a new challenge too  :alone:

What's the difference between v1.0 and v1.1?

I know they're both just preview/test videos, but why did you put that video effect for the second one? :poker:

I have to admit that this looks really interesting but I still don't think it's worth my $60

It's not possible to reload the left gun while shooting the right gun at the same time for example...

Offthewall managed to fix that already, though it isn't 100% perfect obviously.

He said that he does plan to release his duel-wielding scripts and stuff one day but I wonder if that'll really ever happen...

And we have one hybrid dual wield weapon in BO3: GKZ-45 Mark 3

I've heard of the weapon but I've actually never seen gameplay of it. I guess that answers my question :D

Stuffy appears to have pretty much nailed it here tbh.

HOLY MOLY

So Idk if any of you still remember this but 2 years ago or so somebody named "offthewall" managed to find a way to implement real duel-wield weapons in WaW (though they still had some issues), and later on he experimented with a new type of duel-wield weapons which he called "Hybrid Akimbo". Basically you're duel-wielding different weapons at the same time (pistol with a shotgun, revolver with an SMG, etc.), and like his regular duel-wield weapons they still had some issues but the fact that he managed to put that into WaW looks really cool imo

Here's a video if some of you don't know what I'm talking about:

Anyways, so with mod tools coming out for BO3, I would assume that the engine limits for BO3 are much, much higher than that of WaW's engine so now we can implement a bunch of cool stuff in BO3 that probably would've been a pain in the ass to do in WaW (or just impossible). Since the mod tools allow people to port custom weapons (and since BO3 has duel-wielded weapons), I can easily see people creating their own duel-wielded weapons too but are hybrid akimbo weapons still possible in BO3?

highly doubtful lol

It's certainly possible. I remember saying the same thing for BO1 ever having custom zombie maps and look at where we are now :)

Holy shit, this is awesome seeing a mod for BO2! The evolution of modding is great, we're getting a map for BO1 and now mods on BO2. This is great!

Hopefully maybe someone might find a way to create custom maps for BO2...  ;)
