The manager is not required to launch maps, you can just as easily launch the maps from the mods menu in the CoDWaW game.

The manager uses the game's registry key to find the game installation path. If the manager didn't find your installation, it's not our fault, it's yours. It usually means you didn't use a legitimate installer for the game or you've uninstalled an illegitimate version of the game in the past but did not clean up it's registry values before installing the legitimate copy.

Use the Launch option in the Tools menu of the Map Manager then.

it wont install the map into my mods folder could it be the fact that i had to create the mod folder. One never originally showed up... or am i just retarded

No that wouldn't be it. If it couldn't find the path from the registry it would at least ask you to set your mods folder manually(rare). Make sure you are running as an administrator so the program has permission to access your mods folder.

Are you sure? If you could get the map manger to begin with then there's no reason you couldn't get the maps on the manager as the manager is hosted on the same server as the maps.
