Hey, I've gone through the FAQ and forums and haven't found my error, basically when I launch UGX Map Manager 1.4.2.exe it opens and another window opens with "Connection error" "Could not connect to the internet. Your Internet connection is currently unavailable, or our map data is currently unavailable. Help: 1) Make sure ugx-mods.com is online. 2) If so, Check for any announcements related to server downtime. if none are present, please post a topic or wait until the servers are working again."

My friend can open it and download the maps fine, it's not my internet connection and I don't have any firewall settings, my bitdefender literally JUST expired so that can't be blocking it either, I'm not really sure what the issue is and I can't fix it no matter what I try.

Any ideas?



EDIT: Turns out moving it from the "downloads" folder fixed it, odd, windows like having issues with permissions...

the program says to look for cod waw but it doesnt show up if i brwose for it.
found the solution i seached for tha map and copied it in to mods i dont know if i am supposed to do that but it worked:)

when i launch i get a "your internet connection is offline" or "ugx maps are offline" ive downloaded 5 times. plz help

Check your firewall settings, read the FAQ in the first post.

I can assure you there is no malicious code in the application, there's a virus scan on the front page. Add a firewall exception so the manager can connect to our server to download maps and you should be fine.

ok so i know its off topic for this page but im new...so um i cam here to download the kino der toten map but the link i followed to a page like this bu i could not find a download button plzz can u gimme the link for kino that is downloadable? thank you.

You have to download the UGX Map Manager. The manager will give you access to directly install Kino Der Toten as well as many other maps.

AHHHH help when i finnished downloading the map this poped up   

Make sure you're running the map manager as an administrator. Thousands of people have used the program, and for almost all people this program works without any complications.
