Likely you either caught it at a bad time while the server was flooded with users or your connection to the server isn't great. As of now I'm downloading at 5000 kb/s:

The downloads are rather unbelievably fast, faster than its taking me to upload a video to YouTube that is.

I only just clicked to download Zombie train and its on 42%, pretty sick if you ask me.

After the new update i cant download anything. When i look at maps the thumbnails all shows Preview not available and when i hit download it stays at 0% and my speed constantly goes between 0kb/s to 40kb/s. Inthe previous version i was fine with all the maps and i was getting an average of around 400kb/s

The server is still the same, the update itself wouldn't cause something like that unless it was already happening.

Make sure any antivirus firewalls(including windows firewall)have the map manager as a white-listed program as they could be preventing the program from connecting to the internet and downloading the map files and preview images.

Ive been having this issue too, first noticed it a week or 2 ago. It downloads really slowly, the max was about 45 kbps. I fixed it by just canceling the download then trying again and it was back to normal, so that makes me think its not a firewall issue.

We host the downloads off a server which we do not host ourselves. Occasionally the server is very active which causes the downloads to be slow. It can also be a factor of location relative to the server. Fixing this issue requires more money to do things such as getting a separate download host and possibly different servers around the world for better connectivity world wide. Unfortunately this can not be achieved at the moment due to the costs involved. But as I said before non of that has to do with the update, you most likely got unlucky as the program uses the same downloading system as you would when downloading from your browser. There's no reason that the update itself would cause slow speeds.

Ive logged in but it stills says i need to log in to view the download link. i even tried re-logging to see if it would fix it and nothing.
