Hello everyone, after going to windows 10 I found problems in the launcher to start asset manager.
In the console I see: Failed to execute asset_manager.
Has anyone had my problem? How to fix the error?

I followed the tutorial but it does not work, I always get the same error.
I have windows 10, so I can not install Microsoft.net visual studio because it is already included in windows.

Are u running launcher as admin?
Have you tried starting asset manager from the /bin folder? Try as admin also.

If you try to install the vcred stuff from the link above does it says its "already installed" or are you assuming win10 already has them.

Asset manager is dependent on the vcred version used when they made it. Different versions cause sidebyside (sxs) errors. The link above installs the version needed to run asset manager.
win10 probably doesn't install every one by default because most programs and games are packed with the necessary ones.

I installed the visual studio version 3.0 from the link but I still get the error.
Looking at the settings I noticed that as version of visual studio there was default (ie before installing version 3.) version 4.2.

These are the files from the link i suggested you try to install.
Net Framework 2.0 w/SP1
Net Framework 3.0 w/SP1
Net Framework 3.5 w/SP1
VC++ 2005 Redistributable w/SP1
VC++ 2008 Redistributable

Install all files in order. Don't skip files.

 i got the solution of your error.you just have to install  vcredist(86)2005  + vcredist(64)2005     thats all
